• To perform Editing, Modeling and Checking of Shop Drawings for large Structural Steel Projects.
• Should have experience of leading detailing team and coordination with client.
• Experience in Structural Steel Detailing using Tekla.
• Should have complete knowledge on project management cycle relevant to structural steel industry.
• Experience of Business Development of Engineering services in domestic and or international market.
• Contact with client engineering, maintenance and operations staff regarding proposal and project execution.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings and documentation for identified and approved concepts/projects.
• Verify on-site condition and dimensions relating to existing facilities
• Identifies, quantifies, and implements tools, methods, processes and equipment, which improve the Quality, reliability and productivity of the department.
• Serves as a mentor to other engineers within the company, helping them develop their design, analysis and problem solving skills.
• The communication must be objective and accomplished in a neutral to positive manner.
• Good Communication Skills is Mandatory

• Responsible for final check of drawings
• Study of input drawings received from client
• Preparing the track Error
• Checking the drawings and suggest the changes as per Standards
• Raising queries for the missing information
• Planning and estimating the work schedules
• Work allotment and monitoring guiding the detailer in completing the work in Scheduled time
• Checking of output product by the detailer
• Estimation for Proposals
• Conducting Training classes for detailers

Work Experience: 5 to 10 Years

• Read and interpret industry blueprints (e.g., structural framing, piping isometrics, plan architectural, and equipment layout drawings).
• Read and derive measurements, angles, dimensions, and quantity of material needed to fabricate a structure.
• Use and analyze job specifications.
• Research data and use industry catalogs.
• Operate Windows Systems computer (Microsoft Office Suite), handheld calculator, compass, scales, and drafting tools.
• Distinguish colors when working with color-coded drawings.
• Perform hand and computer aided drafting and material take-off tasks.
• Plan, organize, multi-task and carry out assignments with minimal direction and supervision.
• Develop and check girder beam shop drawings, detail drawings, single and multi-coped pipe templates for field use, and nest material (plate, beam, and pipe).
• Piece mark prints.
• Loft, detail, check and develop CNC files for structural plates, beams and pipe.
• Develop and check pipe supports and field dimensions.
• Generate 2-dimensional part drawings.

Work Experience: 5 to 10 Years

• Sound Knowledge in Structural steel Engineering & Modeling activities for minimum 3+ Yrs
• Should be able to read and Understand Client Drawings.
• Responsible Connections, members and grids as per design drawings
• Detailing of detailed shop drawings with respect to the approved GA drawings for each and every components, connection details for members like columns, star columns, rafters, brackets, clips, purlin & grits, rod , angle & pipe bracings, pipe struts
• Should be hands-on in below areas:
